Getting to Ikaria

You can reach Ikaria by plane from Athens or Thessaloniki or by ferry from mainland Greece (such as Piraeus) and other Greek islands.

By Air
From Athens: Daily flights operate from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Ikaria Airport (JIK), with travel times of approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour.
From Thessaloniki: Flights are also available, sometimes with a stop in Limnos on the same plane.
Airlines: Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air operate flights to Ikaria.

By Sea
From Piraeus (Athens): You can take either a conventional or high-speed ferry.
Conventional ferry: 7–9.5 hours
High-speed ferry: 5.5–6.5 hours

From Other Islands: Ikaria is well connected to islands such as Samos, Chios, Mykonos, and Syros, as well as other parts of the Dodecanese.
Ports on Ikaria: Agios Kirikos and Evdilos.
