Getting to Andros

Andros is connected to Attica via the port of Rafina, with ferries arriving at Gavrio. The journey takes just about 2 hours on a conventional ferry. There are daily routes, with more frequent departures on weekends and during the summer.
The island also has direct connections to Tinos and Mykonos every day, and to Syros and other Cycladic islands less frequently.
Athens International Airport is approximately 10 km from Rafina. You can reach Rafina by bus departing from the “Nomismatokopio” metro station in Athens.
